MDA Space (MDA) has secured a 9.5% equity investment by CSG, an industrial and defense group, the companies said Tuesday.
The equity position makes CSG the largest shareholder in MDA Space, the companies said.
The investment offers the potential for cooperation between the two companies, including co-investing in production facilities, the companies said.
CSG has also created a team focused on space with two new positions, head of space strategy and technology and space director for corporate development, they said.
